The iconic Mudgee Wine & Food Festival comes to Balmoral Beach

Balmoral Beach presents the return of Mudgee Wine & Food Festival this weekend on Sunday 14 August from 11am - 5pm. Marking it the 26th annual event that the foreshore has to offer, this is the perfect event for food and wine lovers right across Sydney.

The iconic pop-up festival draws thousand of people to the destination. It is an opportunity for Sydney-siders to meet the local growers of the finest wine and food selections produced in the Mudgee region. With the amount of offerings, the festival will spread across the entire foreshore - which is a spectacular sight in itself!

With the perfect seaside location, beach-goers are encouraged to come along and see what what the festival has to offer.

“It’s shaping up to be the biggest festival to date," Festival Director Mike O’Malley says.

Being the longest-running regional wine and food festival in Sydney, it’s the perfect introduction of the premier gastronomic event, Mudgee Food & Wine Festival held in Mudgee from 9 September - 3 October, 2016.

“The Mudgee Wine & Food Festival at Balmoral is the perfect way to reset the senses and get an authentic taste of the Mudgee region. With our best food and wine producers on offer, the festival entices people to skip town and visit the Mudgee itself,” Mudgee Region Tourism Acting CEO Leianne Murphy adds.

The free shuttle bus will solve transportation problems, operating in a continuous circuit from Balmoral Beach to Military and Spit Roads via Raglan Street and Awaba Street throughout the day.
