'Domestic goddess' offers appetising event

Home cooking enthusiasts will be excited to hear that self-titled ‘domestic goddess’ Nigella Lawson will be appearing at the Sydney Opera House on Sunday 21 January for an appetising discussion.

Making her return to the Opera House stage after a sold-out appearance in 2016, Nigella will be promoting the release her first book in two years, At My Table. A celebration of tasty and innovative home cooking, At My Table is full of recipes that put a twist on signature dishes, as well as some completely new creations.

“This book, like all the books I’ve written and all the cookery books I’ve read, is not just a manual, but a collection of stories and a container of memories,” said Nigella.             

During the talk, Nigella will share stories and anecdotes from both the book and her life, all with her unique wit and warmth.

Throughout her two-decade career, Nigella has written ten cooking books which have sold more than five million copies in the UK alone, including bestsellers How to Eat and How To Be A Domestic Goddess. She has also hosted many TV series, including Nigella Bites, Nigella Feats and Nigella Express, making her a worldwide household name. Her latest TV series, Nigella: At My Table, premiered on December 6 on Foxtel’s Lifestyle Channel.
